Turmeric Teais the best detox drink for your body. Add one tablespoon of turmeric to boiling water. Add (one piece) grated ginger and (two tablespoons) lemon juice. Strain the liquid and add (one tablespoon) honey. Cleanse your system with turmeric tea.

Spot Treatment for Acne and Pimples:

Add (3/4 tbsp.) turmeric in (1-2 tbsp.) raw milk and mix the two ingredients well. Apply this paste on your lips and leave it on for ten to fifteen minutes. This will lighten pigmented lips and make them appear pink.
Scrub For Removing Dead Skin Of Lips:
Mix (3/4th tbsp.) turmeric with (1 tbsp.) vaseline. Take a toothbrush and dip it in this mixture. Gently exfoliate your lips using toothbrush for one to two minutes. This will remove the dead skin on your lips. This can also make your lips appear fuller.
This body scrub recipe is known as Ubtan in India. Mix (5 tbsp.) gramflour, (1 tbsp.) turmeric, (3 tbsp.) milk cream, (3-4 tbsp.) rose water and (3-4 tbsp.) raw milk. Mix the ingredients into a smooth paste without any lumps. Allow the scrub mix to rest for few minutes before using it. Before taking bath, apply this scrub on your body in circular motion with gentle pressure and let it dry for 5 minutes or so. Remove the scrub by making circular motions on your skin during shower. This scrub can make your skin dry so use a good moisturiser after bath. The benefits of ubtan include improved blood circulation, exfoliation, lesser body hair, smooth & supple skin, and so on. The bride-to-be apply ubtan daily one week before their wedding due to the high impact results of this body scrub.
Hair Care with Turmeric:
Turmeric is known for antifungal, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. It cleanses your scalp and aids blood circulation. There are many recipes for turmeric hair pack but the simplest and most effective one is this one. Take (4-5 tbsp.) turmeric powder and mix milk in it. Add (2 tbsp.) aloevera and (2 tbsp.) honey to this paste. Apply this mask on your scalp and massage gently. Leave it on for 30 minutes followed with a good hair wash. This mask will fight hair fall, dandruff and stimulate hair growth.
Reduce Facial Hair:
Mix turmeric with gram flour. Add water and make a smooth paste. Rub this face scrub and wash it off with cold water. Do this for a month and you will notice a significant reduction in facial hair.
Heel Cracked Heels:
Mix two spoons of turmeric powder with some coconut or castor oil. Apply the mixture to the heels of your feet and let it stay for 10 to 15 minutes. Do this daily before taking a bath. The anti-inflammatory properties will soothe your heels. With time this treatment will repair and make your heels softer.
